F. Hudson miller / Sound Designer

F. Hudson Miller has over twenty years of experience in theatrical feature post-production sound. He is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, Grinnell College, and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He received an Academy Award nomination for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and has worked on five additional Academy Award nominated soundtracks (two have won Best Sound Editing Oscars). Hudson recently formed Rhapsody Post with his business partner F. Suhail Kafity.

Danny daneau / editor

Born in the storybook world of the Cotswolds in the United Kingdom, Danny graduated with an MFA in Digital Cinema to write and direct his first feature at the age of twenty-four. Making his livelihood as an editor, his work has premiered at SXSW, been well reviewed by the New York Times and Cinema Editor Magazine, and can currently be seen on HBO. In 2014, Daneau joined the creative production studio KIDS AT PLAY to edit and develop new projects within the company, while still writing on his own.

Daneau currently resides in Los Angeles with his filmmaker wife, Laura C. Lopez, and enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with his family in Florida and Ecuador.

Chad engel / Production Manager 

Chad Engel has been working in Los Angeles as a freelance artist for six years.  Moving to LA after graduating the Motion Picture Arts program at Interlochen Arts Academy, he has quickly worked his way up the ranks in commercial and film production. He produces, directs and brings creatures alive with special effects makeup. His numerous credits include projects such as “Looper,” ”Killing Them Softly” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” He is currently working as a production coordinator with NuContext Creative and their clients, which include NBC/Universal, USA Network, AMC, Disney Channel, Disney Theatrical Productions, WEtv, SundanceTV, Oxygen, TVGN and HBO.

Adept at working in all budget ranges, Chad brings his years of expertise to each project. When he’s not shooting, you can find him hiking SoCal with his Siberian Husky, at a bookstore, or meditating.

Courtney Kaiser-sandler / music  and Music Producer

Courtney Kaiser's main musical project is the duo Kaiser Cartel with Benjamin Cartel. In Kaiser Cartel she and Benjamin share the songwriting duties and switch up instruments, although she primarily plays acoustic guitar and sings lead. The duo has released two full-length albums, 2008’s March Forth and 2010’s Secret Transit, have had success with placing their music in TV and film, and have toured extensively. Apart from Kaiser Cartel, Courtney has lent her ”gorgeous, woozy voice” (The Washington Times) to collaborations with various other artists including John Mellencamp, Sean Lennon, Yuka Honda, Petra Haden, Sufjan Stevens, and The Wallflowers. Courtney has training in opera and has studied other music such as Hindustani Indian Classical and southern African folk. Her eclectic background has led her to write pop songs with intricate melodies and interesting instrumentation. Pre-Kaiser Cartel, Courtney released a solo album, In The Garden. She is currently the Instructor of the Singer Songwriter Program at Interlochen Arts Academy.

LAUREN JONES - Singer/songwriter

Lauren Jones is a blooming singer songwriter from Essexville, Michigan.  As a recent graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, she continues to perform and collaborate with fellow musicians while studying songwriting, audio production, and composition as a popular music student within USC's Thorton School of Music. 

DYLANGER BATES / PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Dylanger Mychael Bates is a filmmaker and writer from the San Fernando Valley.  A child of the art department, Dylanger grew up around film set and discovered he had a passion for telling stories early on in his life.  He is a graduate of the Motion Picture Arts Division at Interlochen Arts Academy and the School of Film/Video at the California Institute of the Arts

SARA NIMEH / ART DEPARTMENT

Sara Nimeh got a hold of the family's camera at a young age and began making short movies.  She continued movie making through high school at Interlochen Arts Academy and on in to college at Southern Methodist University, graduating with a degree in Cinema and Accounting.  After graduation, she traveled to South India and Lebanon where she taught Intro to Film production in high schools.  Meanwhile, she began writing a script for her first feature film.  She is currently is Dallas based and works freelance for commercials and television.  Her dream is to be a great director and best friends with Terence Malik.

Joe Stucky is an animator, illustrator, and painter who has collaborated on animation shows for broadcast that aired on the BBC, Cartoon Network, Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, KDL, KOL Jr., and the Electric Company.

Stucky is an educator who has taught at the College for Creative Studies, and Baker College. He has led stop motion workshops for 6th graders at A2 STEAM @ NORTHSIDE (Ann Arbor), and Parcells Middle School (Grosse Pointe Woods). Stucky seeks to inspire, motivate, and encourage as a way to give back for what he has received.
